And there you have it!
Now in about a month, I will be doubling the dose of this medication, Ceftriaxone, and also adding another IV med, Zithromax. And soon I will start getting a liter of fluids a day.
Also, I will continue to go get my nutritional IVs each week.

String Bean Studios: Crafting For Lyme: Arm Warmers Giveaway
I'm entering a contest for these super sweet arm warmers...absolutely love them!
Insomnia...
I could only sleep for an hour....
This is the best picture I have of me in a long time! Pink and green suite me well!! ;)
Home again home again...
OH how I love to be home! It feels so strange to feel this way though. You know, it is something that "older" people say, not your average 20 year old! However, I guess at this point, I am not your average 20 year old so what can I say? I LOVE my bed!!
So we got back around 6pm. last night. And if you know me well, you know that I insist on unpacking immediately, otherwise, it won't happen for 2 weeks. So, it took me all evening but, I unpacked all my personal stuff and cleaned up my room. I just can't stand to lay here in my room 24/7 looking at any sort of mess. It looks better and I can now rest easy! :)
Me babbling on about the hotel mostly.

And my special edition on IKEA. L.o.v.e. that store!!
OH! Also about a special little something that I got for one of my favorite people in my life! ;)
Well, thats all for now folks. Enough already huh?! :)
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts especially this week! I have felt them and feel so blessed to have such an amazing amount of support right now!
Thank God with me that the whole PICC procedure went well and that the treatment would go smoothly!
God is so good!!!

I have finally been PICC-led!!
Here you go guys! Introducing my PICC line.
Sporting my picc cover from Evie. Thank you Evie!!
Icing...letting the cover hold the ice. Not so comfortable!
....much better held on the outside!! :)
More coming soon!!
Needing some extra prayers...
I am so sick that I still haven't even had the "easy" shower...I don't know if it is even going to happen. Nothing about tonight has been easy. Just really really sick.
I NEVER thought I would be saying this but I don't want to leave my bed even to get this PICC line placed.....not good.
I need all the prayers I can get!
And Thank you in advance!

Tomorrow, tomorrow...
...I love you tomorrow, you're only a day away!!
Ok, so I am going to Portland tomorrow to get this PICC line finally placed! I am super excited. I just can't wait to get started on this phase of treatment!
So tonight, I will once again be "enjoying" a "normal" shower and hair washing. Now these are tough for me right now so its hard to enjoy. And having to constantly be hanging onto a bar or even sitting on the bottom of the tub isn't exactly normal. However, it will be easier than with the PICC line, since you CAN NOT get the PICC dressing wet!
I would just ask that you all pray that everything will go smoothly tomorrow! I seem to always complicate nearly every situation and I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared that something will go wrong. But I am hopeful!
And since we have to be back up there within 24 hours for a dressing change, we are staying up there the night so that we don't have to make the 2 hour drive, one way, 2 days in a row. It should be much easier this way!!!
Thank you everybody for all the thoughts and prayers and words of encouragement!!

So much to be thankful for!!
So today I came home from my IV appointment to these sitting on the counter top. They are from some dear friends back in Ohio and I appreciate their thoughts and prayers!! Thank you so much Mitch and Neidy Sandlin and Wayne and Carol Schwartz!! This really means a lot to me!
And here is a gift haul video. I have also received a few other things recently but I just can't remember what all. Maybe I'll do another gift haul soon! :)
So there are just some of the things I have been blessed with. I want you all to know how much I appreciate everything you all do to try to brighten my days, it really is a blessing!!
Lots of Love!! <3 <3 <3
And then I walked into my room and these were sitting on my dresser! Thank you so much Susanne for your thoughtfulness! And yes, I miss you a lot! :)
And this is a "stuff" haul. Just things that I needed and want to do little reviews on.
I found them!!
Lots of Love!! <3 <3 <3
Me blathering on and on...
I'm not really sure what I said in this video but I guess it gives you a bit of an insight to what Lyme Disease sufferers and their caretakers have to deal with. I honestly can't remember what I even made the video about and it was only about 4 minutes ago. And if I were to watch it again to find out, I will only remember the last minute or so. Such is life I guess.
I'm sorry my videos aren't the greatest quality. I realized that I wasn't using the highest quality so I did a bunch of videos at the better quality but they won't upload because they are too big. So I will only be able to use the better quality for short videos.....so sorry.

I am feeling pretty out of my mind so I probably shouldn't post these, but I will anyway. I likely won't remember that I even posted these tomorrow.... Another night in this Crazy Lymie's world. ;)
Herxheimer Reaction
Otherwise known as herxing. I made this so that you will understand what is going on and that you don't freak.
Also, I forgot to mention that Lymies can herx from even "simple" things like Candida. When we go off gluten and sugar and you are killing off that yeast and fungus, it can create just as bad of herx reactions as the other infections.

PICC line update
So this is how yesterday went.
And here is a video from the other day that wouldn't upload for me then. It explains some of my central nervous system issues. This is one of the hardest things to deal with because of how it makes you feel. I personally can deal with pain much better than anxiety and the terrible CNS stuff. But I know it can and will get worse, especially with IV treatment.
Thank you all for your prayers and love yesterday!! I know a lot of people were praying for different issues and I felt that love!! I was able to sleep all during my IV at my Dr's office and that is a miracle.
I ask that you all would pray that I would have patience for this next week. I go to Portland next Wednesday and it feels like a month away. I know the time will fly by though!!
Lots of Love to you all!!!

PICC line update
Hey guys! So I am having problems right now with uploading my videos. I have stuff I want to talk about though, so I will try to get them up soon!!
PICC line update: It is scheduled to be placed at 10am. on Tuesday but I have to be there by 9. So you can be thinking about me and praying that everything goes well. I expect it to be fine, but I always seem to complicate every situation!

Syncope
Yup, passed out tonight for the third time. I was feeling my POTS symptoms all day pretty badly and then tonight they just climaxed. I couldn't even get off the floor for a while because I was so weak and tired and my heart rate was still just way too fast. I tried once but fell back down like I was passing out again.
I was able to sleep about an hour and a half but now I am awake and feeling really gross. Headache, nausea, pain, bla bla bla.
In other news, we talked to Dr. R. (my new doctor that is doing the IV therapy for me) and she is going to order the PICC line to be placed at a hospital about 35 min. from here. So that is nice, I guess. Otherwise we were going to have to go to Portland to get it. I'm not sure, we might have to go to Portland afterwards too then since my Dr. up there has my meds...I don't know. I'm getting the PICC line soon, that is what counts. I'm guessing it won't be until next week though. :(
Thank you to everybody that is following this blog! I appreciate all the love and prayers and support!!

My poor eyeballs...
So I'm having issues with the eyeballs again. This time it is different and painful. Not really sure what is going on. The video doesn't show the true redness of it, it is BRIGHT red!
Also, it looks like I am getting a flat spot on my left eye. And when Dr. H (my LLND) looked in my eyes today, she said it looks like the right eye is becoming more prominent. This could be indicative of brain swelling or something of the sort, essentially pushing my eyeball out.

Scary Nervous System

Too much talking
So I was so excited about getting this blog started, that I worked on it all day, talking all day trying to make coherent videos. And now my nervous system is complaining. It feels like some for hideous tickling going on inside my body that hurts kind of. Its the strangest sensation!
I can feel every little thing happening around me. If a car drives by, my nervous system freaks. If I cough, it freaks. Occasionally it gets so bad that even my own breathing sets my system off....I have a feeling that thats where we are headed and that I have a long night ahead of me!
But amid all of this unrest in my body, I have peace. I have peace that God knows exactly what is happening and that He has a specific reason for it all! Who knows, maybe some day there will be somebody in my life that needs me because I know this Lyme journey! Who knows?!
I'm frustrated though because when people hear that I have peace about it they think that I am giving up and saying, "Oh well, I guess this is the way I will be the rest of my life". And that is so not the case! I have the desire to live and to live a FULL, productive life! I know that one day I am going to be well again and I am fighting so hard to get there!
So please don't give up on me!! I need your prayers, love, and support!!

POTS....
Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a form of Dysautonomia. I'm sorry but I had a hard time trying to explain it. Its so confusing and complicated and I don't feel like I even know very much about it.
In reality I have likely had POTS for years I just now realized that that was what it is though. I hadn't ever fainted before so I hadn't considered it a real possibility. I struggled with hypertension for years and my doctor suspects that that was really POTS symptoms. Now I struggle with fluctuating from hypertension and hypotension. Its a huge show to juggle!
Symptoms
These symptoms are only the symptoms that I experience. There are some that I didn't mention I'm sure.
There are more symptoms that other people experience though.

Part 3
Thank you for your patients with the multiple videos!
The Big Question...part 2
